I Woke From A Dream

I woke this day

from a dream not remembered

Until I saw her in reflection

all came back, bit by bit

the eyes, searching answers

and the telling of deeply buried promises

I was faced with my Self, truth laid bare

my witness inside

Faced with myself, by her, me

and knew all at once

that time and time

Goes round full circle

to meet you when you least expect it

Yet, need it so

Inside is truth

Inside was me

And, I woke from a dream this day
